Registered Nurses (RNs) (needed for 3-11 and 11-7 shifts) Works with a treatment team to assess and provide services to individuals with a psychiatric diagnosis; Administers medications and follows all physician's orders in accordance with established hospital and licensing agency protocol; Provides education/explanation to patients, families, and co-workers regarding medication usage/maintenance, side effects, patients' rights, as well as other topics necessary for optimal patient care. Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred; knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) (all shifts available) Works under a qualified professional nurse; Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing caret; Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staff and other hospital departments. Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred. Certified Coding Specialist Evaluates medical records and charge tickets to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the ICD-10-CM, and CPT guidelines. Provides technical guidance and training on medical coding to physicians, clinicians, and staff. AAPC certification required. Two years of experience in medical record coding or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities. Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement guidelines. Data Entry Clerk Keys Professional services, pharmacy, and room & board charges into billing system. Posts payments to patient accounts. Obtains payer authorizations. Provides clerical support to billing staff and accounts receivable manager. High school diploma or equivalent. Six-twelve months data entry experience. Experience working in a health care environment. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and Medical terminology a plus. Accounts Recievable Coordinator Primary responsibilities of the individual include, but are not limited to: accounts recievable follow- up, payment posting, data entry, and other clerical duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in medical/psychiatric billing and Accounts Recievable follow-up required. CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding experience/knowledge preferred. Computer literate. Typing skills of 40 wpm. 10-key proficient. Billing Coordinator Works under the direct supervision of the Billing Manager. Primary responsibilities include accuracy audits for billing, patient benefit verification, data entry, and other clerical duties as assigned for all Highland companies. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in medical/psychiatric billing and Accounts Recievable follow-up required. CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding experience preferred.
